The Internet is a powerful information and entertainment tool, we would expect our customers to use the Internet with respect, courtesy, and responsibility, giving due regard to the rights of other Internet users.

Our acceptable use policy is actively and strictly enforced. Offending content or users are removed from our network, usually as soon as they are discovered, although we will always inform you when and why any action has been taken.

Common sense is the best guide as to what is considered acceptable use, however the following are unacceptable uses.

Illegality
In any form, including but not limited to the unauthorised distribution or copying of copyrighted software or other data, harassment, fraud, trafficking in obscene material.

Content
Material that is not allowed on our server's includes, but is not limited to:

· Bulk e-mail related software/products/information.
· Any material which you do not own or have permission from the copyright owner to use.
· Pornographic or any other adult content.
· Any material related to hacking, cracking, warez and IRC is not allowed.

Software downloads may only be hosted if you are the writer and copyright owner of the software, all other software including freeware, shareware and trial software is forbidden. Audio and video downloads may only be hosted if you are the creator and copyright owner of the work.

System Resource Usage
If Mathost.com discovers that a customers web site or scripts are using an unacceptable amount of servers resources including but not limited to CPU and memory usage we may suspend or terminate the customers account without notice. Our normal practice is to only suspend/terminate accounts without notice if the web site in question is likely to jeopardise the smoothing running of Mathost.com servers, normally Mathost.com will email the customer asking them to reduce the resources they are using.

Chat rooms, and top site scripts are likely to use an unacceptable amount of resources and are therefore not allowed on Mathost.com servers. CGI based message forums which use flat file databases are often found to use excessive system resources, to avoid disappointment please use a PHP message forum. Be aware that if your message forum become popular they are likely to use an unacceptable amount of system resources.

E-mail
Spamming (the sending of unsolicited e-mail) from Mathost.com's servers is strictly forbidden. Mathost.com will decide on a case by case basis what constitutes to be spamming. The use of our servers to provide a free e-mail service, to send large quantites of e-mail or to receive large quantites of e-mail is strictly forbidden.

Server Abuse
Attempting to cause harm to a mathost.com server, or any other server on the internet using an account on Mathost.com will result in immediate removal of that account.

Mathost.com reserves the right to deactivate and remove any web site from its servers which contains material that at Mathost.com's sole discretion is deemed to be unacceptable, undesirable or may damage the reputation of Mathost.com. If you are unsure about content you intend to place on our network, please check with us before you do. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes acceptable use.
